I studied art history and fashion design, and much of my interest in fashion is inspired by art... from paintings to movies to music, and everyday life! My aesthetic combines simplicity and special details. With this design I have tried to represent "artful romance" by intermingling a medieval fairy tale atmosphere with elegant modernity. Keeping in mind that a wedding dress is a dream garment for many women, I wanted to capture the romance of mythical beauties evoked in paintings and illustrations of our treasured girlhood books. The gown is bias ivory silk crepe, adorned with pearls on a cowl neckline. The silk chiffon veil is bordered by hand-rolled organza and lace, suspended from pearls encircling the neck. The sleeves are silver lace and silk tulle. I hope you like my very first bridal design!
