Hannah Friesen

I am a recent FIDM graduate who has always had an interest in combining fashion and sustainability. I design using creativity and logic, which combine to make this dress tell a story of two lives being woven together and becoming one within a united community. This dress expresses my unique perspective on the theme of Artful Romance. I used the literal art of weaving to form the romantic imagery that is represented in a wedding ceremony while my use of natural fibers upholds my belief in creating a healthy planet.
