Melanie Brooke Ray

From a young age Melanie Brooke Ray has always been drawn to the arts. This interest led to completing a Bachelors of Fine Arts Degree in Fashion Design at Savannah College of Art and Design. Since college she has been focusing on custom designed clothing for local clients and continuing her dream of building her own clothing line. Inspiration is all around us and Melanie takes from all elements from around the world and brings them together in a craftsmanship of draping on a woman’s figure. For this dress, Melanie took inspiration from the organic layers of the colorful flowers in bloom. The dress can be worn two different ways. Without the layered cape you have the essence of a flower right before the bloom. Then by simply adding the full-layered cape you have gorgeous blossomed floral like petals flowing around your figure.
