Rachel Wendling

Rachel Wendling, originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, studied fashion design at Philadelphia University and London College of Fashion. While in London, she interned with Ulrich Engler Couture, who is famously known for designing customized bridal, evening wear, and ready wear for the Royal Family of England. Ulrich Engler inspired her to continue studying bridal and evening wear design. She graduated from Philadelphia University in 2010 after accepting awards for Best Senior Collection and the Frank Agostino Award for Excellence in Eveningwear. Rachel went on to intern with Vera Wang and J. Mendel. Her experiences challenged her and strengthened her skills in pattern making, draping, creativity, and independent innovation. Her design philosophy is centered around timeless elegance and whimsical romance.
