Ronnie Escalante

My name is Ronnie and I was born and raised in the Philippines. My family and I migrated to the US (California) when I was 17, after I turned 18 I decided to join the US Navy and did my 4 years. After the military I have also worked as an Assistant Construction Manager in Florida. My Mom called me up and said that I need to finish college, so I packed up my bags and followed my dream and passion. I finished my degree in Fashion Design, and I hope one day I will make an impact in the fashion world. With the inspiration "Artful Romance," what comes to my mind is "Feminine Elegance.” I have designed the dress with a mermaid silhouette; the woman's body is already a work of art and showcasing her figure is a celebration in itself. To give the element of drama and excitement, I have added some organic draping on her right torso that wraps around her back. A bit of detail that consists of some small flowers and beading beside the draping also adds a touch of softness. The whole garment is constructed using 100% cotton to give it more attitude and organic texture.
