Stephanie Ip

Stephanie Ip is American-born with a Chinese upbringing, and speaks multiple languages: Cantonese, Mandarin, English, Spanish, and Japanese. She has lived in Hong Kong and Los Angeles, and is now living in New York City. Her passion of creating fashion has brought her to New York City to study fashion. She is currently a Junior Fashion Design student at Parsons School for Design. Her dream is to create a fashion business that does not only serve the purpose of clothing people well, but is also generous to the environment. Her design aesthetic stands on the fantasy and elegant side of fashion, which includes the use of sewing techniques with ruffles, pleats, and layering. Designing simple elegance, but with a bit of originality in the use of shapes has allowed Stephanie to bring forth her design aesthetic as a fashion designer.
